  1. Q4. I think Glover indicated everlasting of nature. In 'The Magpies', Tom and Elizabeth were getting old. And, Elizabeth is dead later. But, the magpies still say Quardle oodle ardle wardle doodle. So, The human passes time, but the nature is permanent. And, in 'Thistledown', whenever the poetic narrator does something, thistledown is stil and continuously planted on the wind.

  2. Q3. 'The Magpies' is "end rhyme". But, it is not perfect rhyme but imperfect rhyme because 'bed' and 'said' have only the same final consonant sounds but vowel sounds are different. The rhyme schme of 'The Magpies' is ABCB DBCB BBCB EBCB FBCB GFCF. Except the final stanza, it is same from the second line to the fourth line.

  3. Q.3
I think, 'ouardle oodle ardle wardle doodle' line is repeating in each sentence.
'magpies said' mean is symbolised by the unchanging backdrop. But human is changing.
And rhyme is repeated same sound. For example, bed red overhead instead and head.

  6. Q1. i think the old white horse which mentioned in 'In the lane' functioned in good ways to express the nature itself which don't have to work in the brain or have a cleverness. Just peaceful and lie quite.
but the last black horse mentioned in 'The last ones' functioned about dark, last one.
